1,000 Gospel Conversations

We cannot control whether or not people are saved. We however can control if we are being obedient to Jesus' call to preach the gospel. This is a calling for everyone who calls themselves a disciple of Jesus. In 2025, we’re challenging our church to collectively have gospel conversations with 1,000 different people. This could mean opening the Scriptures with someone, sharing your personal story of how God has changed your life, inviting them to join you at one of our gatherings, or simply preaching the gospel to yourself in their presence.

Whatever form it takes, we must always be ready to preach the Word. We firmly believe that if we are a people looking to give away our faith and see others around us with a compassionate eye, we will see salvation spread across our city. We set this goal as simply a way to continually remind us of our only part to play: share the Love of God with others.

On January 22, Rusty Langford led our church through a workshop to practice having gospel conversations in a Natural and Compelling.
