We are seeking to hire a full-time Student Director to join our staff team! The Student Director will lead our 6th-12th Grade Student Ministry with the aim o collaborating with parents and volunteers to raise up, equip, and send out disciples of Jesus. This individual should be passionate about the discipleship of middle and high school students, building relationships, leading adult mentor volunteers, and connecting with families.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities

Oversee the weekly Wednesday night gathering for students, including equipping and coaching volunteers to help carry the ministry responsibility.

Build relationships with students and welcome new students to the ministry. Provide pastoral support to students and their families.

Equip parents with resources and training to effectively disciple their children.

Additionally, all staff members carry 2+ areas of ministry/administration. This role would include carrying another aspect of our ministry that aligns with the individuals gifts and passions, (i.e. communications or church-wide outreach).

A deep, personal relationship with Jesus and a passion for disciple making.

Meet the qualifications of a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.

Alignment with The Crossing’s vision, core values, and theological commitments.

Strong pastoral skills, with the ability to support families through various stages and challenges.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively on a team, while being a self-starter who can initiate ministry improvements.
